Barbara has been an active member of the art community on Quadra Island since the day she arrived from Vancouver in 1998. Her formal training incldes a diploma of Fine Arts from Vancouver Community College followed by printmaking studies at Emily Carr College of Art and Design. Since then she has exprimented with seeral mediums including drawing, printmking painting and collage. Many of Barbara's peices combine two or more mediums.
