Gordon James

Persons of Interest
July 4th – 26th, 2014
Artist's Reception 1st Friday July 4th from 6 – 8 pm

Through the medium of Intaglio printmaking, Gordon James conducts a personal exploration of his relationship to all other beings he has encountered or imagined which are the most interesting and complex of forms and the basis of this exhibit. His work speaks to the deep-seated need of our species to leave a visual record of ourselves, who we are and how we live.

A master of clay and ceramic sculpture, Gordon's prints using the intaglio process is a wonderful combination of craft and fine art that continues to fascinate and inspire him.
